Application Information:

The COATT Portfolio award honors pre-service and in-service teachers who design and implement units of study that use technology in innovative and targeted ways. The portfolio, based on the requirements of the 7th standard, allows teachers to highlight and reflect upon their use of technology in their curriculum. It also allows teachers a public forum for sharing these “best practices” across the state.

To apply for a COATT award:

1. Read the portfolio manual for details on the portfolio requirements.

2. Review the portfolio rubric to see how the portfolios are evaluated.

3. Create a portfolio that the judges can view in a web browser. Make sure to include examples of work that show you have met each standard on the COATT rubric.

4. Fill out an application form and submit your portfolio by one of the deadlines:
January 1st, 2010
June 1st, 2010
